What to Bring

Clothes:
The kind of clothes you will need depends on the time of year. However you should always bring lightweight clothes (shorts, T-shirts etc.). You will wear these most of the time because even in the middle of winter it is very likely that during the day it will warm. But you can’t be too trusting of the weather.
This is a very mountainous region and on our hikes and climbs we spend a lot of time over 1000m. The weather can change very quickly and it is important to bring warm clothes, including thermals and a waterproof. If you come in the coldest months (Dec, Jan, Feb) we recommend you bring gloves and a warm hat. Your clothes should be comfortable and allow you to move freely.

Shoes:
This is the most important part of your personal equipment whether you are going to be hiking or climbing. Running shoes or sandals are not going to be enough. These mountains are rugged and here a slightly twisted ankle could ruin your holidays. A pair of comfortable hiking boots with solid soles is ideal. For rest days and evening times, a pair of lightweight shoes or sandals will be useful.

Climbing Shoes:

If you want to do a climbing activity with us then you must bring your own climbing shoes. We will not be able to provide you with these. If you have to buy a pair make sure that they are fit snugly but that they are comfortable. For the courses, you will not need shoes that are at all tight.

Rucksack:
A small rucksack with a capacity of 20 to 25 liters will be ideal for carrying whatever you need during the day, both when hiking and when climbing. You will need to carry some water, food, clothes and maybe a waterproof.

Suncream, hat and sunglasses:
A small rucksack with a capacity of 20 to 25 liters will be ideal for carrying whatever you need during the day, both when hiking and when climbing. You will need to carry some water, food, clothes and maybe a waterproof.

Camera, headlamp and binoculars:
These are not necessary but they can be very useful.
